Coaster Challenge Winner!
.jpg)
My manager, Terri, had given us four round chipboard coasters and challenged us to make something with them. I ended up winning first place in her challenge with this project!
I was playing around with my new scallop circle die-cut and tried using a chipboard coaster through it. It worked! I had just gotten my son’s wedding photo’s developed and I thought how cool to cut the photo’s with the scallop circle die-cut and glue onto the coasters. I remembered a yellow antique frame I stashed away and dragged it out. I painted it white and then dry sponged black paint to shabby it a bit. I taped two 12"x12" basic black cardstock pieces together and cut to fit inside the frame. I embossed the swirl from Baroque Motifs in silver (they used this stamp for their wedding invitations) randomly on the black cardstock. I began with four photo’s, but decided that six would look better. I attached the coasters to the black cardstock with sticky strip.

The finishing touch on this project was to add the white "always cherish every moment with those you love" Chateau Bella rub-ons.
