Language of Friendship

Published by under Big Shot,Sale-a-Bration,Stamping

The 127721 Language of Friendship Stamp Set is one of the Free Sale-A-Bration items that you can get when you spend $50.  This stamp set coordinates with the 117191 Bird Builder Punch and the 119658 Boho Blossoms Punch.  Here is a beautiful card using that stamp set and the two punches.  The heart was made with the 125599 Hearts Collection Framelits Die.

Apothecary Art

Published by under Big Shot,Stamping

I use the term "simply elegant" quite a bit when describing cards.  Time to change it up a bit.  This card using the 125525 Apothecary Art Stamp Set is minimally stylish.  See?  It doesn't sound as beautiful as simply elegant.

If you haven't seen the Occasions Mini Catalog, then you may not realize that the Apothecary Art Stamp Set coordinates with the 125598 Labels Collection Framelits Dies.  There are six different size dies that cut the shapes in this stamp set.

I love the coordinating 119793 Poppy Parade Cardstock, 119782 Poppy Parade Ink Pad and the 119263 Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon on this card.  Adding the 123113 Flower Garden Embossing Folder is striking.

Another great sample that I saw at Leadership!  A reminder that the Poppy Parade color will be retiring as of May 31, so don't wait until the last minute to stock up!

Mouthwatering

Published by under Stamping

With this spring-like weather, popsicles may be jumping into my grocery cart soon!  The 125675 Mouthwatering Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog is so fun to use in combination with the new Scented Stampin' Emboss Powder.  There are three scents:  125590 Vanilla, 127034 Melon and 127035 Cherry.  I made some cards using the Cherry Emboss Powder and the smell was very pleasant, not overpowering.

Here are two samples from Leadership that I thought you'd enjoy.

Got Treats

Published by under Punches,Stamping

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all my Irish friends.  Ever since I spent St. Patrick's Day in Ireland, I enjoy pretending I'm a wee bit Irish!

At my March downline meeting, Kathleen brought these yummies.  She stamped the image from the 119114 Got Treats Stamp Set, punched them out with the 119876 Large Tag Punch and backed it with the 119854 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch.  In between the punches is a cocktail toothpick.  Good ol' 104430 Dimensionals holds everything together quite securely.

Kathleen made rainbow cupcakes in gold cupcake liners.  She frosted the cookies and added yellow chunky gum and green sugar on top.  I didn't realize the thought behind these details at my meeting.  Probably because I couldn't cram them in my mouth fast enough.  Here's the details:  the pot of gold (gold cupcake liners & yellow chunky gum), green sugar (grass), and the end of the rainbow (rainbow cupcakes).  Stamping and baking are all about the details!  Thanks Kathleen!!!
