Another cool feature of scrapbooking with My Digital Studio is you can make your photographs whatever size you want. All you do is size the "photo box" to what you want and drag the photograph on top of the photo box. Like magic, the photograph is the size you want. Here are some 12" x 12" scrapbook pages I've made using large photographs.

And my personal favorite size is using a 12" x 12" photograph so the entire page is the photo. This is just amazing to me to be able to do this so easily. Have you ever priced out a 12" x 12" photograph from a professional photographer? I can tell you it is a lot more than the $2.50 that Stampin' Up! charges.

And, one more incredible feature that My Digital Studio has is I can click "Insert Duplicate Page" and within seconds an identical page is made. I use this feature when my scrapbook pages have two or three of the grandgirls in them. Since I have different scrapbooks for each of the grandgirls, I can print the right number of scrapbook pages that I need. This is also a great feature if you are making scrapbooks for two sets of grandparents, godparents and aunts and uncles.

A funny thing happened while I was sorting pictures of our oldest grandgirl, Brianna. I found three pictures of her on our bed at three different ages. I decided to put all three pictures on the same scrapbook page, which is a first for me. Seeing Brianna on the bedspread at 4 months, 8 months and 2 years old was unique and intriguing to me. I decided to use 118108 My Digital Studio for the journaling, "#1 Brianna meeting Panther. #2 Brianna touching toes. #3 Brianna reading books. I used the colors of the bedspread for the journaling. I printed it out, cut it to size and mounted it on 105119 Always Artichoke cardstock. Added some 117292 Old Olive satin ribbon and buttons.

This scrapbook page was so fun to make using My Digital Studio. My favorite part is the dotted circle. It helps bring all the pictures together on the page. I feel so much satisfaction each time I get more done with my scrapbooking.

I got the itch the other day to make something with this little wooden box that I had been saving. It is 8 1/2" long by 3" wide by 1 1/2" deep. There is an antique porcelain knob at the top.

I had been sorting some old family pictures and decided to do some miniature scrapbook pages for the three sections of this box. I decided to shabby and distress the pages. The box was a little too deep for my photo's. It took me a while to rummage through my stuff to find the perfect thing to use. [drum roll please]

The 116802 Circle Treat Cups worked great. They have adhesive on one side, which stuck nicely to the wood shelf.
Here are my three miniature scrapbook pages of my grandparents and parents.

And here is the finished project. I love it!

Thank you to everyone who attended my July 8, 12 hour New Catalog Open House. It was a smashing success! The house was full except from 2:30-3:00 when I gobbled a turkey sandwich and put my feet up! I loved your excitement about the new catalog, as well as loved seeing everyone.
I woke up early Saturday morning, grabbed the cat and we went up to join Dan at the cabin. After relaxing for a bit, I wanted to get some scrapbooking done. (I keep some of my traditional scrapbooking supplies and some waiting-to-be-scrapbooked photographs at the cabin.) I was working on the year 2004. I got about ten pages done, when I realized it wasn't 2004 that I was working on, it was 2005. So I changed all the dates on those scrapbook pages. As I kept working late into the night, it hit me. I WAS WORKING ON 2004, like I originally thought. I wanted to put my head on the table and cry. Really? Was I that tired? Am I that uninformed about my own life? Or that forgetful? Probably all of these reasons. Here is a picture of me using almost all of our cabin kitchen table to scrapbook. It is true. You work to the space you have. I had the whole table, so I used it.

I see the clock says 12:50 a.m. I wanted to keep scrapbooking, but decided to go to bed. I woke up Sunday morning and scrapbooked a little bit more before leaving. Fifteen pages done, except for re-correcting the dates on ten pages. Tee hee! I'm pleased.
