When I was at the cabin with my downline in April, my goal was to complete three Simply Scrappin' kits.  I did it and came home with almost 100 scrapbook pages! 

Here are the scrapbook pages I made using Simple Scrappin' kits from Stampin' Up! plus a package of white or vanilla 12"x12" cardstock.  

This is a retired Simply Scrappin' kit "Tie the Knot".  I have all my son's wedding pictures developed and cropped, but haven't put them on scrapbook pages yet.

Here are some of the layouts.  As you can see, I still have leftovers from that I will use to make more pages.

I have alot of Christmas photographs from 2009 that are printed and cropped.  But again, no scrapbook pages done.  This is the 115696 Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin kit.

I panicked when our third grandgirl was born in January 2010.  When I started her scrapbook, I realized I never made a scrapbook for our second grandgirl!  What?  Seriously?  Yikes!

I purchased the 113059 Petal Party Simply Scrappin' kit for Amber's scrapbook.  Do you hear a sigh of relief?  Whew!  I'm not totally caught up, but I've on my way!

I believe the Simply Scrappin' kits are the best value for your money.  For only $19.95 you get three 12"x12" double sided printed papers, eight 12"x12" coordinating pieces of textured cardstock and six 6"x12" sheets of self-adhesive die cuts.  If you add a package of twenty sheets of 12"x12" Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock, you will easily have 30+ pages for your scrapbook!

Here is the mini scrapbook that the students at my Big Kids, Little Kids Mother's Day class made.  They used the Tea Party Designer Series Paper and Whisper White cardstock for this project.

The base of the scrapbook is using 114519 Bag w/Scallops Sizzix die cut.

Fold it in half and then fold in half again.

This is the inside of the scrapbook with places for three photo's.

This is the outside of the scrapbok with one place for a photo.  Where it says "i love you" is where the child writes their name and the year the scrapbook was made.

I love the Night & Day Specialty Designer Series Paper (retires 1-4-10) and the Twick or Tweet stamp set.  I can’t wait to fill this with pictures of the grand girls!

In late October, I attended a scrapbook convention with three of my downline.  It was wierd to be attending something other than a Stampin’ Up! convention.  We all got a few new ideas to use in our upcoming classes.  But we all agreed that there wasn’t the comraderie or excitement that is always at Stampin’ Up! events!

The first theme for October’s scrapbook club was birthday pages made in primary colors.  The Big Shot "Alphabet Simple Letters" has become my favorite alphabet die cut.

The Big Shot "Big Bold Cupcake" sizzlits die cuts were very fun to use.  Crimped the bottom of the cupcake and added brads to the top.

I’ve been wanting to try the Big Shot "Lattice" die for a while.  Glue dots work the best to make them stick to cardstock.

The second theme was Christmas featuring Merry Moments designer series paper, Old Olive, Real Red and Very Vanilla cardstock.

Embossed words in Iridescent Ice embossing powder and punched with the ornament punch.  Added silver cording on the back held with a brad.

This page features the styled vanilla hodgepodge hardware kit with retired real red striped grosgrain ribbon.

 Again, the embossing was done with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.

One of my downline, Autumn, attended my recent Halloween class.  She changed one project from a Halloween theme to an autumn theme.  She used the Big Shot "Bag with Scallops" die cut to make the six bookmark look-a-like bases.  She used the Big Shot "Alphabet Simple Letters" to spell out her name.  The Scallop Punch, 1 3/8" punch and 1 1/4" punch and the Falling Leaves stamp set were also used.  Don’t you love the new In-Colors of cardstock, ribbon and ink:  Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango and Soft Suede?  Great job Autumn!

My friend, Karla, recently had a beautiful baby girl.  It was time to make a purse-size brag book/scrapbook for the new mom.  I love using the Sizzix Top Note Die Cut to make these.  I embellished some of the pages and texturized some of the pages.  I love the colors of pink and brown together!

 I was so excited to design these Halloween pages.  I used the Batty for You stamp set,  the Alphabet Simple Letters die cuts, the Two Tags die cut, and the Pumpkin #4 Sizzlits die.

 These scrapbook pages feature 3 of the new In-Colors:  Dusty Durango, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry in the textured cardstock.  I used the Sizzix Leaves #2 die cut, Texture Plates Kit #4 and Naturally Serif Sizzlets alphabet decorative strip die.
