My Stampin’ Up! Family

Published by Sue under Recruiting

Today was my upline's Stamp Share and Shoebox Swap.  It was a morning of sharing business tips and creative ideas and an afternoon of making card samples from the new Holiday Mini Catalog.

Here is a picture (L-R) of my upline, Terri, my downline, Autumn, and myself at today's Stamp Share.  I believe this is the first time I've posted a picture of my upline on my blog.  I have a bad habit of taking pictures of creative projects and forgetting to take pictures of people at Stampin' Up! events.  But today, I really wanted Autumn to have a picture of some of her Stampin' Up! family.  Autumn is going to attend school in Germany for the next four months.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her.  I'm so excited for her, but I'm really going to miss her!  I can't wait to hear about her adventures when she returns home.

I have worked in many different jobs before I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  Some of those jobs were for a long time (over ten years) and some were for a few months.  Some of my previous jobs were for large corporations and some were for very small companies.  Not once did the employees or employers refer to themselves as being part of a "family".

There is a mutual appreciation and respect between corporate Stampin' Up! and their demonstrators.  Corporate Stampin' Up! would not exist without demonstrators and there would not be demonstrators without corporate Stampin' Up!  We depend on each other every day.  The "family" atmosphere at Stampin' Up! starts with Shelli Gardner, the co-founder.  She is a genuinely warm, caring and friendly person, yet she is a savvy business woman.  She goes out of her way to show her love and appreciation to demonstrators and the Stampin' Up! employees.  She is an amazing woman!

I feel blessed by the wonderful people that have been brought into my life since I became a demonstrator.  I would love to have you join my team and the Stampin' Up! family.   Please contact me for more information.

Published by Sue under Recruiting

I'm serously feeling the love from Stampin' Up!  What an amazing company to work for.  Now they have this fun video filmed at the Stampin' Up! headquarters using the Convention 2010 Theme Song

"How much do we like our demonstrators? We like them so much we sometimes get a little carried away."

I jumped in my car with my bag of stamps, my punches, and my apron on.

Driving to her house where my girlfriends with, to see my new catalog.

Here I am, and it’s time for me to shine.

Grab my bag, and I’m nervous like the first time.

It all seems so crazy!

I was looking for a way to make it.

Now we’re chilling out; having such a good time

Some are here for the very first time.

We share what we love.

We love what we do.

Ah, life is good.

Convention 2010

Published by Sue under Recruiting

Five days in Salt Lake City sure went by quickly!  It was nonstop fun, learning and creativity.

My goal during the 2010-2011 catalog year is to earn the Disney World trip.  What a dream to take my family there and see those grandgirls faces at the Disney parks.  I'm praying in this picture and now I need to get to work on my sales and recruiting efforts.

My lucky downline, Denise W.,  won this stamp set!  Way to go Denise!

We were all thrilled at the surprise give away to all demonstrators on the last day:  Designer Series Paper, Glass Glitter, a Christmas stamp set and an ink pad.

From L-R are Terry, Jen and myself!

From L-R, Laura, Lisa and my downline, Denise W.

Convention was an awesome experience.  I learned so much from the business classes, received some fabulous swap cards, took hundred's of photo's of creative projects (can there ever be enough?), renewed friendships and made new friends.  My wish is that every one of my customers could join me at Convention at some time.  There is nothing as exciting as a Stampin' Up! Convention.  All you have to do is join the Stampin' Up! family by signing up to be a demonstrator.  Please contact me if you are interested in doing what I do!

I'm sure you can tell from these photo's that I have very serious downline meetings.  Yeah, that's right.  They are all my witnesses to the boring, stiff, quiet meetings.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it!  Actually, my Stampin' DIVA Day is something that I look forward to, as well as my downline.  It is very therapeutic to share our love of papercrafting with each other.  We share our business challenges and business successes.  We share our joys in life, as well as the challenges.  There is a strong bond of friendship between all of us.  I just can't say enough about these wonderful women!  I'd love to have you join my team!  Contact me to find out more information about joining the Stampin' Up! family.
