WOW! My 100th Post!

Published by Sue under Miscellanous

When I started my blog, I told myself that I wasn’t going to stress about it or pressure myself to put out daily or weekly entries.  As you can tell, I don’t post much in the summer because we live at our cabin from Friday until Sunday just about every weekend.  I’ve been waiting for this milestone 100th post and wondering…hmm…what is worthy enough??

How about a new grand baby?  This frame was part of my Mother’s Day present.  Of course, I got all teary eyed when I saw it.  I quickly wrapped it back in the tissue paper and gave it to my hubby to open.

Here are the expectant parents, our son, Ben, and our daughter-in-law, Jade.

Dan and I are thrilled with the happy news.  This will be grand baby #3 for us!  And it looks like this grand baby’s arrival date has been moved up a week.  We’ll have the best New Year’s gift for 2010!

Leadership 2009 in Orlando

Published by Sue under Miscellanous

Leadership was so incredible this year.  The new catalog is awesome.

Dan and I ready to board the buses for the Manager’s Reception.  We went to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure.

The entire island was closed to the public, which was so awesome.  It was decorated with this type of sign.  We had a fabulous buffet meal and dessert bar, plus could go on rides for free.

Here is Dan and I with our caricature and the artist.

Our daughter and oldest granddaughter joined us for four days of exploring Disney.  Here we are with our 3D glasses to see It’s A Bug’s Life.  We had such a memorable vacation.

Look Who’s Blogging Now!

Published by Sue under Miscellanous

I’ve procrastinated on starting a blog of my own for a long time.  In all honesty, I am a busy woman and really didn’t want to add anything else to my plate.  When three of my downline started blogs of their own, I knew as their leader, that I had to jump on the bandwagon.  When I told my stamping friend, Karla (love ya), that I’ve been thinking of starting a blog, she gently reminded me to let her know when it’s done.  "Karla, it’s done!"  Whew!

There are many Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who also have businesses who help technically challenged people like me.  My thanks to Amy Celona www.websbyamy.com, for setting up my blog layout and answering a zillion questions.  Her tutorials are great!  And thanks to Michelle Laycock www.laycockdesigns.com, who designed my blog banner with these clues "I like purple hearts, flowers and shabby chic."  She got it perfect on the first try!  Such creative and amazing women who make me look good!

Please be sure to subscribe to my blog to keep updated on regular posts, specials, upcoming classes and more!
