Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps

Published by under Holidays

Lookie, Lookie, Lookie – you can now stamp your cookies!

Stampin’ Up! has a brand-new product called Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps. Something fun for crafter’s, baker’s and kids! The cookie stamp is a solid wood handle with three interchangeable stamp images: a heart, a jack-o-lantern, and a snowflake.

Just make your favorite shortbread cookie dough (or one of the two included recipes) and stamp away! Create beautiful, hand-stamped cookies in a flash. The stamp images are completely food-safe and child-friendly. They're easy to use and no ink required!

Turn your cookies in to homemade gifts by packaging them in a Kraft Gift Box from the Holiday Mini Catalog (find them on page 15). The boxes are made from food-safe material. And the perfect tag can be made with our A la Carte stamp – Homemade – on page 20 of the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog.

To order, use item code  #125152 for $16.95.  What a sweet present!

Christmas in July

Published by under Holidays,Punches

My two oldest grandgirls wanted a new art project to do today.  I opened my craft cupboard and found 2 styrofoam cones.  That's when I remembered seeing the back of the new upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog.  Viola!  They took my pile of retired cardstock scraps and started punching circles.  They adhered them with glue dots, which isn't permanent, but good enough for a child's project.  The project on the mini catalog used brads to adhere the circles.

Here's a close up of their finished projects and a very small picture of the inspiration project on the mini catalog.

And here are the proud artists with their creations!  Not bad for 6 1/2 and 3 years old!

Mother’s Day Gift

Here is the mini scrapbook that the students at my Big Kids, Little Kids Mother's Day class made.  They used the Tea Party Designer Series Paper and Whisper White cardstock for this project.

The base of the scrapbook is using 114519 Bag w/Scallops Sizzix die cut.

Fold it in half and then fold in half again.

This is the inside of the scrapbook with places for three photo's.

This is the outside of the scrapbok with one place for a photo.  Where it says "i love you" is where the child writes their name and the year the scrapbook was made.

Published by under Decorating,Holidays

A customer asked me to make this Christmas frame in Bravo Burgundy and Handsome Hunter colors.  I like how it turned out.
