Rue Des Fleurs

Published by under Big Shot,Punches,Stamping

When I first saw the 125485 Rue Des Fleurs stamp set in the Occasions mini catalog, I burst out laughing.  I liked the humorous images.  And, I liked the antique/vintage look of the images.  Here is a beautiful sample from Leadership.

Twitterpated Fabric & Cardstock Dress

Published by under Big Shot,Fabric,Punches

Oh, the fun creations you can make with fabric and cardstock.  Who looked at the Round Tab Punch and thought it looked like a shirt?  Not me!  I didn't even realize the Bordering on Romance stamp set matched the Twitterpated Designer Fabric perfectly until I saw this sample at Leadership.   I sure appreciate other people's creative ideas!

Today is My B-day!

Published by under Big Shot,Stamping

Here is my favorite b-day card sample from all the samples I saw at Leadership.  It is a little shabby chic and cheerful, so no wonderful I like it!

Here is how the butterflies are made.  Use the 114507 Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die to cut the shapes out of the 126154 Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (a free Sale-a-bration item).  Stamp the 125115 Fresh Vintage stamp set (a free Sale-a-bration item) on the butterfly paper shapes and sprinkle the 109132 White Embossing Powder over the shapes and heat emboss.  Aren't they just gorgeous?

I'm enjoying time with my family on my b-day.  I hope you are enjoying today too!

Sweet Cake

Published by under Big Shot,Punches

I love getting handmade cards in the mail.  This is from one of my favorite people.  This card was unexpected, so it was extra special when I opened it.

Isn't this just beautiful?

This was a nice surprise from Cherie, who is my second level manager.  She has a huge downline, so if I make her Top 20, that's a big deal to me!  Thanks to all of my loyal supporters for helping me get this recognition.  I appreciate y-o-u!

Elmo Card

Published by under Big Shot,Punches

Elmo is one of the easiest Sesame Street characters to make into a card.

I used the 113468 Scallop Circle Bigz Die for his head,

the 122125 3" Circle Original Die, cut in half, for his mouth,

the 119860 1 3/8" Circle Punch for the white part of his eyes,

the 119868 1" Circle Punch for the black part of his eyes and for his nose.

Our youngest grandgirl loves Elmo.  Even though her second b-day party was a Rainbow theme, I had to make her an Elmo card.  She opened the envelope and immedately said "Elmo".  And she stared and stared at it.  That was so fun to watch!  If you want to make an Elmo card, let me know.  I have some tips I can share with you.
