Scrapbooking for the Walls

Published at 3:51 am under Big Shot,Decorating,Scrapbooking,Stamping

At our townhouse, we had a huge wall in the master bedroom.  I hung 8 x 10 frames with baby pictures, graduation pictures and wedding pictures of our children and my hubby and I.  At our new house, we don’t have a big enough wall anywhere to put these frames.  So, I took all the photographs out of the frames and made black & white copies of the photographs I wanted to use.  I decided to make six 8"x8" scrapbook pages with these photographs that I will hang in our new master bedroom.  I have an old window frame that was painted white with red crackle paint showing through.  Since, I didn’t want to get rid of this window frame, I decided to paint it black and put my six scrapbook pages in it.

The finished project, which I adore!  The "family" metal sign at the bottom is from a craft store.

Scrapbook Page 1:  This is me.

Scrapbook Page 2:  Our wedding day and 26 years later at our daughter’s wedding.

Scrapbook Page 3:  My handsome hubby.

Scrapbook Page 4:  Our sweet son.

Scrapbook Page 5:  Our children’s weddings.

Scrapbook Page 6:  Our darling daughter.

Do you want to see how I adhered the scrapbook pages behind the glass panes?

Pop-Up Glue Dots worked very well!
