In April, I am doing another fundraiser for the women’s group at my church. They like to make cards, plus another project. I needed a prototype of the other project to show the leaders of the women’s group on Thursday.
I usually don’t show my prototype projects, but decided that you need to know that I struggle like everyone else does. There is no stamping on this project, which wasn’t my original intent. I don’t have a big enough alphabet stamp set to use on this project. I don’t own a Sizzix alphabet die that is big enough either. So I settled for printing the letters on the computer.
Do you have any suggestions or ideas to jazz up this project without making it too hard for new stampers?

This is such a bad photograph. The wall is white, not yellow. Sorry… Here are close-up’s of each coaster:

Sue,
Great idea! I think it’s good for your group to know that you can make things without even stamping. The dye cuts would be helpful as I bet you cut each of the letters out for them!
The theme is great for church, too.
It’s a good use of the coasters and hows them how to use the tool (can’t think of the name of it) to punch the holes. That’s a good way to market that.
I am glad you shared your prototype!
Gerry
Sue, you could try using the corner ticket punch on two of the corners. Or add another layer of paper. Or use white ink on colored paper (takes a longer time to dry). Or borrow a set of alpha stamps from a good friend. Or flip the paper over for a darker background. Or leave it alone, it looks cute as it is!
I think this is darling! You could try Decor Elements letters. I know it’s not stamping, but it is Stampin’ Up!
