Pillow Box Treats

Published at 4:23 am under Big Shot, Gift Item

I’ve been working little by little for the last week making 40 pillow box treats.  I used the Sizzix Pillow Box die to cut the shapes.  A quick strip of sticky tape to adhere them together and folded in the ends.  I put two Dove chocolates in each pillow box, after testing to make sure the chocolate was fresh!

I embossed the "for you" from the stamp set, Say it With Scallops, and punched them out with the Square Scallop Punch.  I was running out of time and skipped the eyelet and just punched a hole in the corner of the tag and used the stretchy silver cording to keep the box closed and hold the tag on.  These are table favors for my Business & Professional Women’s dinner tomorrow night to celebrate National Business Women’s Week.

They sure are a classy looking, yet easy to do treat! Hope the chocolate was real fresh! Silver ink on black CS would also work with the tag!

WOW Sue, your boxes are FABULOUS. I LOVE them just the way they are!!! They are SO fun to make, aren’t they? I love it that we can now treat our customers, friends and families with cute little gift we can make at home any time using this wondeful die cut. I’m SO glad Stampin’ Up! came out with them!!! Your blog is coming along nicely, keep up the great work!

Sue, I love the way your gift boxes look. I was thinking of making some as wedding favors. I’ve made chocolates and wanted to put a cellaphane bag of the chocolates insides. Do you think it will fit?
