Winter Scrapbook Page

Published under Scrapbooking

Even though we don't have as much snow as we usually do, I'm sure you have been taking some outdoor winter pictures that need to be scrapbooked.  Here is a two-page layout for you to copy.  You can click on the picture to make it bigger.  I love the smiling snowman and the sprinkling of snowflakes on the pages.

You’re My Type

Published under Stamping

The 125564 You're My Type Stamp Set sure brings back memories for me.  I learned to type on a typewriter like this one.  Ancient history!  This is such a cute stamp set.  I'm sure you will want one for yourself.

Gnome Sweet Gnome

Published under Stamping

Once again, Stampin' Up!'s trend watchers are correct.  Gnomes are back in style according to a magazine article I read.  Did you know garden gnomes have watched over crops and lawns since the Renaissance era?  Here are some cards made with the 126535 Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  These little gnomes are looking cuter each time I see something made with them!

Leadership Goodies

Published under Miscellanous

Here is the loot that I brought home from Leadership.

The red box in the upper left-hand corner was filled with a cellophane bag with three different kinds of handmade candy inside.  And the candy was made by a Stampin' Up! employee.  I wonder where that candy went?

I loved the Leadership purse that I got last year.  So I was curious what we would get this year.  Stampin' Up! never disappoints me.  This year's bag was made with fabric that will be available in an upcoming catalog.  AND, it is FOUR bags in ONE!  So cool!

 Isn't' this just adorable?

I unbuttoned the bottom piece and turned it inside out and buttoned it back on the purse.

I took the bottom piece off.

I turned the bag inside out.

At the Make & Take session, everyone received this fabric notebook cover.

Shelli Gardner hand signed all 1,400 tags for the Leadership attendees in matching ink.  It is all about personalizing and details with Shelli.  The tags were made with My Digital Studio to match the fabric.  To bling up the tag, they added 119246 Basic Rhinestone Jewels and 119247 Basic Pearl Jewels.  They could have just tied the tag with the 117286 5/8" Real Red Satin Ribbon, but they added a 121012 Clear Crystal Simply Adorned Bauble.

Here is the notebook cover completely opened. I put cardstock in each pocket so you can see all the places to store things.  I will be even more organized now!

I sure felt spoiled and loved all the gifts that I got from Leadership.  I left Leadership feeling very appreciated by Stampin' Up!

A Stamping/Scrapping Room Makeover

Published under Miscellanous

Last year at Convention, Shelli Gardner told all the demonstrators about a new contest.  Any demonstrator who wanted their Stamping/Scrapping Room made over, could submit a video requesting why they should be chosen.  Here is a video showing the before and after space belonging to Tamzin Cochrane, who was the winner.

The Gardner family REALLY went all out re-creating an organized, efficient and beautiful space.  The Gardner's work fast, so hold on!!!
