New Catalog Open House Projects

The Totally Tool stamp set (113256, p. 47) is the first stamp set I bought from the new catty. The Stampin’ Up! Background I texturz plates (114512, p. 203) are one of my two fav Sizzix items from the new catalog. This card was copied 100% from a sample demo’d on stage at Leadership. The supplies are: Not Quite Navy cardstock and ink, Kiwi Kiss cardstock, Bashful Blue cardstock, Riding Hood Red cardstock, Watercolor paper, Black Staz-on Ink, Watercolor Crayons, Blender Pen, black hemp, vintage brad 3/4" circle punch.

My second fav Sizzix product from the new catty is the Stampin’ Up! Movers & Shapers Curly Label bigz xl die (114506, p. 195). This is so much fun to use! I cut the Tangerine Tango cardstock to 4 1/4" x 11" and laid it on the die. I decided where I wanted the curly label cut, as it is magnetic and can be moved all over. I put it through the Big Shot and it cut the curly label window out, scored the cardstock and trimmed the cardstock. Then I used the new Eyelet Border Punch (113692, p. 184) on the bottom. Adhered Very Vanilla cardstock inside the card. The Curly Label Punch Bundle (112966, p. 185) is a must because it totally coordinates with the bigz xl die. Here are some more samples:

Here is a close-up photo of the bigz xl die.

There is a really strong magnetic on the back of the black and purple piece.

Here is what the die looks like. I’m crossing my fingers that Stampin’ Up! will be introducing new magnetic shapes to use with this die in future catalogs.
