Elements of Style Card & Scrapbook Page

Published at 4:00 am under Scrapbooking,Stamping

This is one of the make & take projects from a recent workshop.  The technique is called Split Layers.  I punched 1 3/4" punch out of both Pear Pizzazz and Concord Crush cardstock.  Take scissors and cut each in half.  Tape one half of each color together with Scotch tape.  Punch 1 1/4" punch out of whisper white cardstock and adhere on top of two halves.

Supplies used for this card:

118611 Elements of Style Stamp Set
119795 Pear Pizzazz cardstock
100730 Whisper White cardstock
119792 Concord Crush cardstock
119784 Pear Pizzazz ink pad
119801 In-Color Marker
104430 Dimensionals
119266 Concord Crush 1/2" ribbon
119246 Basic Rhinestones
119850 1 3/4" Circle XL Punch
105826 Mat Pack
116631 Paper piercing tool
119861 1 1/4" Circle Large Punch

I decided to challenge myself to make a scrapbook page that used the same technique and similar colors as this card had.  I like this!
