My Sale-A-Bration Helper

Published by under Sale-a-Bration

I'm very busy today entering in all the orders from my Clubs and workshops that I had earlier in the month.  My "system" is when I have an order entered in the computer, I tear off the yellow copy and throw in on the floor near my computer, which ends up in the garbage.  I keep the white copy for my files.

My 4 1/2 year old grandgirl, Amber, asked me this morning if she could have the papers on the floor.  No surpise, because she's my little dumpster diver–always digging in my garbage in my studio looking for treasures.  As I got up from the computer to start lunch, this is what I saw.

She found a pencil and a calculator and she's quietly tracing the words and numbers on these orders.  Too, too cute!  Here she is when I told her that she looked like a hard-working girl, who needs a lunch break!  So keep sending me your orders.  I'll be able to keep up with Amber's help!

Sale-A-Bration Humor

Published by under Sale-a-Bration

Last year during Sale-A-Bration, Stampin' Up! started putting humorous quotes on the outside of their delivery boxes.  This year, they added a few more.  This is the quote that has been coming on my orders.

Whenever orders are delivered to my house and the two oldest grandgirls are here, they squeal with delight.  They LOVE the brown packing paper.  They used to like to draw on it; a nice quiet activity.  Now they like to wrap themselves in it, walk on it and run through the house dragging it behind them.  Yesterday's order came and Amber, the 3 1/2 year old, wanted to hide inside the box and pop out.  It was crowded inside the box and she was having fun inside and outside the box!

Just Believe & Bliss

Published by under Sale-a-Bration,Stamping

Here is Julianne's card she designed for the shoebox swap at my last downline meeting.  The butterfly is from the 123255 Bliss Sale-A-Bration stamp set.  The flowers are from the 116948 Just Believe stamp set.  The words are from 115370 Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  This is such a peaceful and beautiful card!

A reminder that the Bliss stamp set is only available until March 31 by purchasing $50 (before s/h & tax) from the Stampin' Up! catalogs.

So Happy For You Card

At last Saturday's Mommy/Grandma and Me workshop, everyone also got to make a card.  I wanted this card to be kid-friendly and easy for the adults to make too.

The 121853 So Happy For You Sale-a-Bration stamp set was perfect for this card.  The cardstock used was Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.  Also used was the 117335 Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, 119257 Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, 117877 1 3/8" Square XL Punch and 119865 1 1/4" Square Large Punch.  Super simple for the children and adults to make!

If you want to get this stamp set free before March 31, all you need to do is give me a $50 order (before s/h & tax).
