Last night was my manager's annual Achiever's Event for her top 10 demonstrators.  This is an event that I don't want to miss out on. 

Terri lives in a beautiful log home, which she turns into an overnight retreat for us.  She makes appetizers and cooks supper for us.  She has us make her Stamp-a-Stack cards, which are always beautiful.  Then she gives us a gift.  I just love what she made for each of us this year.  We each got our own personalized journal using My Digital Studio.  Then she brings out the coolest projects for us to make.  We made a scrapbook using an empty CD case and decorated the 3" square blocks that are in the catalog.  When you come over to my house, I'll be sure to have these projects out for you to see.  Then we have a card swap, which is always a highlight.  The cards are beautiful!  I left about midnight, but most of the demonstrators stay overnight.  They are treated to breakfast and lunch on Saturday.  Plus, Terri has another project they get to make Saturday morning.  The rest of the time on Saturday everyone works on their personal stamping and scrapbooking projects.

Yippee!!!  I am registered for Leadership in January 2012.  It is held in San Antonio along the famous Riverwalk!  I haven't been to San Antonio before, so I'm thrilled.  And I just checked off these items on my 'To Do' list:

• Airline ticket
• Hotel room
• Rental car

My telephone rang yesterday afternoon.  I saw on the caller ID that it said "Stampin' Up!".  I'm thinking "why are they calling me?"  Well, surprise, surprise, surprise.  They were calling to congratulate me on achieving a milestone award of selling over $300,000.  Sweet!

Milestone Awards are given to demonstrators at 100K, 200K, through over $1 million in sales!  Demonstrators don't have to reach these milestone awards within a certain time frame.  It may take a demonstrator 2 years or 20 years to sell $100K.  It doesn't matter.  They get the same recognition for each milestone award:  cash bonus, silver pin, free stamp sets at Convention, on-stage walk at Convention, name on Stampin' Up! website, name in the Stampin' Success magazine and a personal phone call from Stampin' Up!

Just like the actors at the Academy Awards, I never would have received this award if it wasn't for so many people.  First of all, Y-O-U, my stampin' and scrappin' friends.  Even though I am my best customer, I haven't bought $300K worth of stamping and scrapbooking supplies since becoming a demonstrator.  I am blessed and grateful for knowing each of you and for your continued support.  I also want to thank my family for supporting me all these years.  And my thanks to all the demonstrators I have met, who have shared their business knowledge and creative ideas with me.  The Stampin' Up! family is incredible.  How many of you reading this would love to "test drive" being a demonstrator?  Let's chat.  You have nothing to lose, but so much to gain!
