There are so many people in my life that I appreciate. It's great to be surrounded by awesome people but sometimes it's hard for me to let them know how fantastic I think they are. There are a few folks I work extremely close with on a daily basis that need to know I think they rock. The Seriously Awesome Stamp Brush Set proved to be perfect for the task.

I found some retired Designer Series Paper in my stash that was Pretty in Pink and Very Vanilla with some glitter on it.  Bling #1.  Then I wrapped the 119775 Pretty in Pink 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon around the end of the frame and knotted it.  I took the 100459 Pretty in Pink Cardstock and ran it through the Sizzix Big Shot with the 121812 Fun Flowers Bigz L Die.  I crumpled the Fun Flowers, layered them and attached the scissor pin.  Bling #2.

Here is a close-up of the flower pin.  I covered it with Bling #3, which is pink rhinestones retired from the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit. 

Three blings; check.  Pink; check.  Scissors; check.  This project is done, gift wrapped and I'm on to my next custom order.

I added a bow of the 118481 Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim.  Then I added a smashed flower on top of the bow.  Doesn't it look 100% better?  It now goes with my shabby chic bathroom decor!

To make the smashed flower, take the 119854 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch and punch out eight circles from the 101650 Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I lightly lightly spritzed the scallop circles with the 102394 Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and crumpled them into tight balls.  You could use water instead of the Stamp Cleaner, but it takes longer to dry.  Walk away from your work table and let these dry.  Then you can smooth out the crumpled cardstock, poke a hole in the center of them and add any of the brads found on page 199 on the Stampin' Up! catalog.  I did add some green leaves, but you don't have to.

The frame is from Ikea.  It is the Tolsby two-sided frame for $.99. If you have a graduation, wedding, birthday, anniversary, retirement, etc. celebration that you need table decorations for, these frames would work perfectly.  You can add photographs to both sides.  You can use these for table numbers listing the guests' names.  Or photographs of the special person from birth to their current age.  Hosting a plant sale/swap?  Place a photograph of the blooming plant next to the seedlings.  Your ideas for decorating these frames is limited to your imagination!  Have fun!!!

She traced the three grandgirls' hands on Designer Series Paper and cut them out.  My heart melts when I see the intertwined hands.  Even though the grandgirls are cousins, they love and adore each other like siblings.  My favorite pictures of the three of them are when they are walking together holding hands (sniff, sniff).

On the back side of this, I will write who made it and why.  Sometimes I think that I will remember everything, but I don't.  Later in the week, I am going to have each of the grandgirls write their name on their hand cut-out.  It is so fun to see how children's handwriting changes through the years.  Then I will frame it and keep it on my desk for awhile.  When I'm ready to take it out of the frame, this will be put in a scrapbook.

Even though some of my downline had never used a sewing machine before, they jumped in and sewed the four seams to make their purses.  It was another fun Stampin' (and sewing) DIVA Day!

It rained quite a bit at the cabin, so it was fun to have a project to do.  I also got about ten scrapbook pages done too.  I love traditional scrapbooking at the cabin.  Very few interruptions, so I can really focus.  I have made good progress on our oldest grandgirl's scrapbook.  The funny thing is when I get home from the cabin, I download my photographs to my computer and then digitally scrapbook them using My Digital Studio.  The best of both worlds for me!
