A Tale of Two Cards

Published at 2:41 pm under Stamping

I was cleaning up from last month’s Technique Clubs and decided to make cards from the leftover supplies.  I made about five of these cards and really liked them.  As I was making my sixth card, I didn’t like the coloring that I did.  It’s hard to throw away a card without trying to salvage it.

And here is my salvaged card.  As I’ve been telling my customers for 12 years now, sometimes the cards we make mistakes on become the prettiest ones.  I really like the bling on this card by using Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Supplies Used:  Inspired by Nature stamp set, Always Artichoke Ink & Cardstock, Chocolate Chip Ink & Cardstock, Very Vanilla Cardstock, Pretty in Pink and Pixie Pink Ink, Sponge Daubers, Large Oval and Modern Label Punch, Sponge, Blender Pen.

My challenge to you is before you throw away a card, think about how you could salvage it!
