Tuesday morning, we put one grandgirl on the school bus and took the other one with us up to the cabin for the day. We have three apples trees that needed to be picked. Plus, a skunk who thinks it can live under our screen porch. Some moth balls and ammonia should discourage the big stinker.
It rained most of the day, but that didn't stop me from sneaking out and snapping some pictures. My ultimate favorite photographs are when the trees reflect on the lake. It's not quite peak for the changing of the leaves, but so close.

I'm grateful to have had a day of peace and quiet because we came home to computer hardware problems and no Internet service for three days. UGH! I swear half of my life is on the computer. So frustrating. We're finally back on-line this morning. Whew! Why is it we take things for granted until they don't work? I'll get back to stamping and scrapping now.

The 123007 Frightful Sight (5 pieces) Decor Elements set will help you make quick, easy and unique decorations for Halloween. These are found on page 228 of the Idea Book & Catalog. If you don't have a plate or platter laying around that you don't use much, stop by the dollar store, a thrift store or a garage sale. After you thoroughly wash the plate/platter, let it dry before applying the Decor Elements to it. Add a plate/frame stand to display your gorgeous Halloween plate and you are set.
This platter was made by Shelli Gardner, Co-Founder of Stampin' Up!

Yesterday's post showed you the beautiful bowl of cherries in the 122880 Cherish Friendship stamp set. Today's post is showing you the antique chair and the goose. I like how the goose was cut out from a separate piece of cardstock and adhered with dimensionals to give it depth. Plus, it looks so realistic.

This is the other project from my Holiday Mini Catalog Open House this last weekend. It is so darn cute. We used Red Hot candies to fill the 124134 Cellophane Bags. Some other candies that fit in the 1" x 8" Cellophane bags are miniature Tootsie Rolls, a piece of Licorice, Smarties, Six-lets, Jelly Bellies, Pixie Sticks and M&M's. I've seen people put nuts or pencils in these Cellophane Bags too.

Here is a close up.

If you want to know the punches and Big Shot Dies that were used to make Rudolph, just contact me.
And, if you didn't want to make a Rudolph cello bag, you could make this adorable Christmas stocking card instead.

Are you wishing you came to to my Open House? I wish you would have too! I always have the BEST time when my stamping friends come over. I really mean that too. I love talking with each person and catching up with their lives.
