Today is the last day that you can order from the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog. It is hard to believe that an entire year has come and gone.

If you want to view the retiring products from the catalog, click here.
Thank you to everyone who purchased from me this last year. I appreciate your support more than you will ever realize.

Yesterday, we took our two oldest grandgirls strawberry picking at a local berry farm.

When we were driving home, I was thinking about the first time I went strawberry picking. Our pastor's wife asked me to go with her and help take an elderly woman from our church, who had been picking strawberries for 30+ years at the same berry farm. This was about eight years ago and strawberry picking became a "new" family tradition for us. Dan and I don't always get the chance to take the grandgirls, as their parents take them. But we don't mind because either way, we always get fresh-picked strawberries.
I decided to package up some strawberries and give them to our pastor and his wife because neither one of them will be going strawberry picking this summer. They were on vacation last week in Wyoming. Our pastor ended up having to have knee surgery from an old injury. His wife fell off a horse and broke her arm and had to have surgery on it. (You know I can't make up this story.) Here's their goodie package and card. Gladware made to look pretty with lots and lots of 119768 Real Red 1 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thank you to my downline, Denise, who made me this strawberry card at the cabin last weekend. Then after I sent Dan to drop this package off, I remembered that I had another strawberry card that my downline, Connie, made for me.

The strawberries are made with the 117332 Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits Die. And, now I need to wash strawberries and freeze them.

Last weekend I was retreating at our cabin with some of my downline. This is one of my favorite events because from Friday to Sunday, there are people coming and going, as their schedules permit.

L-R: Sandy, me, Kimmer, Denise, Amy. This was Saturday.

L-R: Sandy, me, Kimmer, Diane, Autumn. This was Sunday.
We each had our own "to do" lists of what we wanted to accomplish. But the #1 thing we did was R-E-L-A-X.
When I got home from the cabin Sunday night, I had a voice mail message from one of my former downline members who wants to rejoin again. She misses being a demo and being with my Stampin' DIVA's. A weekend retreat at our cabin is just one of the many benefits of becoming a member of my downline. I'd love to have you join the Stampin' Up! family with me. The new catalog year begins July 1. It is an exciting time to try something new. Click here for more information or contact me!

Pinwheels bring a smile to my face. I remember holding a pinwheel on a stick running around the yard as it whirled around and around. Look what you can do with the 123095 Pretty Postage stamp set and the 122344 Postage Stamp Punch! This card brings a smile to my face. All you have to do is cut the punched out Postage Stamp Punch into fourths and attach with a brad. Enjoy making someone smile with a pinwheel card!

We all have those birthdays that simply slip out of our minds or off our calendars. And then, at the last minute, we are scrambling to make a card about 15 minutes before the birthday party starts. Right? This is the perfect style to make for those "how did I forget" cards.

This card features the 123035 Summer Splash stamp set, 122343 Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper and 123125 Cherry Cobbler/White Baker's Twine, all found in the Summer Mini Catalog.
