Sweet Summer

Published by under Big Shot,Sale-a-Bration,Stamping

Here is another make & take project that was made at last Saturday's Open House.  I want to thank my downline, Denise, for the layout.  This card featured the 121849 Sweet Summer Sale-A-Bration stamp set and the 115370 Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set.

We added the 118481 Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim and the 121879 Vintage Flower Adornments to finish off the card.  You can get the Sweet Summer stamp set free with a $50 order (before s/h & tax) by March 30, 2011.

Curly Cute

Published by under Big Shot,Sale-a-Bration,Stamping

Yesterday was my Open House for the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Mini Catalogs.  Even with the snow, everyone showed up!   A very enjoyable day too.  Today's post is one of the projects that everyone made.

Super simple and quick card which features the 117014 Curly Cute stamp set.  This is my newest word stamp set and I love using it.  This card also features one of the free Sale-A-Bration items:  123529 Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon & Button Pack.   You can get this free with a $50 order (before s/h & tax) from now until March 31, 2011.

Fun with Sizzix Embossing Folders

Published by under Big Shot,Stamping

Here are two cards that were stamped and then put in a Sizzix embossing folder.  By doing that, your cards have a completely different look than if you had left them as they were.

This first card was made by punching various colors of cardstock using the 119881 Heart to Heart XL Punch.  Adhere the colored hearts to the whisper white cardstock.  Then the whisper white cardstock was put in the 119976 Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

This second card was made with the 115778 Circle Circus Stamp Set and stamped with various colors of ink on whisper white cardstock.  The whisper white cardstock was then put in the 117335 Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  Then the Happy Mother's Day piece was added on top.

If you want to jazz up your card making and scrapbooking skills, the 113439 Sizzix Big Shot Embossing Machine really puts a WOW in every project you make with it.

Sizzix Flower Folds Bigz XL Die

Published by under Big Shot,Fabric

I made matching t-shirts for the three grandgirls.  I used the fabric that was in the Holiday Mini Catalog for the flowers.  I ironed the fabric with the 122194 Big Shot Fabric Adhesive Roll.  Then I cut the fabric and adhesive using the 115970 Flower Folds Bigz XL Die.  I ironed a flower on the front of each t-shirt and sewed 119747 Brights (Real Red) Designer Buttons in the center.  I also made matching hair pretties on hair clips, so they can also clip them to a headband..  They wore their matching outfits for my birthday party.  I have a frame where I put an annual picture of the three of them together.  Getting the three of them to sit still is quite a chore.  If you have any questions on how to use the 113439 Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine with fabric, please contact me.  It is so easy to do.
