Two of my sister-in-law's and I are hosting a baby shower in March for our nephew. I was quite pleased to get this card from a Leadership swap because it was my inspiration. Thanks Brenda C. for this unique layout.

My roomie from Leadership (hi Lisa) did a presentation on using Stampin' Up! fabric in different ways. That was my second inspiration for designing these baby invitations. I took the 121817 Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric and tore a one inch strip. That became my bow. My third inspiration was the fabric itself, which made me use more fresh, unique, contemporary colors: 11352 Baja Breeze and 101722 Not Quite Navy.

Isn't it amazing how using different cardstock colors (they are having a boy) makes this invitation look totally different? I'm just loving the 121809 Framed Tulips Embossing Folder too. And the Sale-a-Bration stamp set 121847 Punch Bunch was perfect to use too. The inside of the invitation was done on the computer. It was fun to make these invitations.

The last two days, I've showed you projects that were made with the 121812 Fun Flowers and 121810 Petal Cone Bigz L Dies. Here is a card that my Big Shot Club members made this weekend.

I'm sure you can figure out the flowers are from the Fun Flowers die. But how cool is it that the big heart is from the Petal Cone die? I love finding multiple uses for Sizzix dies. I used the 120907 Decorative Label XL punch and cut off the "curly top and bottom". Again, another use for a punch.

Yesterday, I showed you projects that I had made with the 121812 Fun Flowers and 121810 Petal Cone Bigz L Dies. Here is another amazing example how these two Sizzix dies work well together.

I never would have thought of a daffodil flower when I saw the Fun Flowers die, but another demonstrator did. And the Petal Cone die as a vase? The banner is part of the petal Cone die. Stay tuned because I'm sure someone else is busy working on another cool project using these dies!

The Occasions Mini Catalog has so many awesome things in it to help you with your scrapbooking, stamping and gift giving projects. The 121810 Petal Cone Bigz L Die and 121812 Fun Flowers Bigz L Die are at the top of my fav list! Here is the 121810 Petal Cone Bigz L Die used the traditional way.

My downline, Denise, made this for me using the 121782 Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper and 105130 Regal Rose Cardstock. She filled a cello bag with chocolate treats and put it inside the Petal Cone.
There are other ways that the Petal Cone die can be used and I've been having fun making these projects.

I cut two of the Petal Cone die and attached them together. I cut off the half circles on the front piece. Added some bling-bling with the 119246 Basic Rhinestones. The Fun Flower die made these three flowers. I sprayed 118772 Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz on the flowers and then sprinkled 102023 Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on them. Topped the flowers off with the 121879 Vintage Flower Adornments (which are so much fun to use). Here's a side view so you can see this heart pocket better.

I saw this adorable card or invitation idea at Leadership. To make this, you only cut one of the Petal Cone die out of 120953 Crumb Cake Cardstock and adhere it together. Then take the 121030 Crumb Cake Ink Pad and drag it over the top of the Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates (the diamond shaped one). Then lay the Crumb Cake Cardstock on top of it and put it through the Big Shot. The big "ice cream scoop" was made with the 122125 3" Circle Original Die, cut in half and punched the straight edge with the 119882 Scallop Edge Border Punch. The small "ice cream scoop" was made on the Petal Cone die. I put those on a texture plate. The cherry is made with the 121790 Red Glimmer Paper and the 119873 3/4" Circle Punch. The banner is also on the Petal Cone die.

And when you pull the cherry and top scoop of ice cream up, the inside comes out for your invitation information or a birthday greeting. This is so ding-dang adorable!!!! (Note: I must have flipped the photo below when I was resizing it.)

At my upline's Stamp Share meeting last week, this was one of our make & take projects. Terri designs such awesome projects for us to make. We used both the Petal Cone & Fun Flowers dies to make this. I picked the project using the 119794 Peach Parfait cardstock and 117158 In Color Assortment Patterns Designer Series Paper.

You lift off the flower. . .

and there is a sucker behind it! You can use any flat sucker, this just happened to be a Valentine's sucker. Now how stinkin' cute would these be for party favors or classroom treats?
I'm sure there are other creative minds just going crazy thinking of other ways to use the Petal Cone & Fun Flowers dies. These sure are versatile dies to purchase. Contact me to order these or if you have any questions on how to make these projects.

The hubster had a job interview yesterday to be a math tutor. It took me about 1.5 minutes to design and make this thank you card for him to send to the interviewer. Now, seriously, what else could I have used but the 117166 Newsprint Designer Series Paper with the numbers on it? I also used the 117014 Curly Cute stamp set, 120906 2 1/2" Circle Punch and 120907 Decorative Label XL Punch.
