Dark & Dreary Halloween Card

Published by under Halloween,Stamping

Happy Halloween!  Today's feature card was designed by my downline, Sandy.  She always adds little details to her cards that my brain never comes up with.

The white highlights on the spider web were made by dragging a slightly dried out white StazOn ink pad.  It added enough color, but not too much, to highlight the spider web.

120837 Dark & Dreary Stamp Set, 121044 Basic Gray Cardstock, 121045 Basic Black Cardstock, 105125 Certainly Celery Cardstock, 105117 Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, 100730 Whisper White Cardstock, 105217 Certainly Celery Ink Pad, 101179 Basic Black Ink Pad, 106960 White StazOn Ink Pad, 120889 Spider Web Embossing Folder, 119882 Scallop Edge Border Punch, 119854 1 3/4" Scallop Circle XL Punch, 119860 1 3/8" Circle Large Punch, 119869 1/2" Circle Small Punch, 104430 Dimensionals.

French Foliage Card

Published by under Big Shot,Stamping,Thanksgiving

Here in Minnesota, we've had one of the most beautiful autumn's that I can remember.  In many ways, it felt like summer was extended.  I loved watching the colors change on our maple trees in the back yard.  Today's card was one that my Big Shot Club made this month.  I wanted to show them how versatile the 113463 Top Note Sizzix Bigz Die was.  Put your cardstock on the Top Note Bigz Die and put it through the Big Shot.  Then turn the cardstock and put it through the Big Shot a second time.  I love this idea!  This card also shows how you can use 120985 Waffle Paper as a paper ruffle on the bottom of the card.

Supplies Used:

120845 French Foliage stamp set, 100946 More Mustard Cardstock, 105119 Always Artichoke Cardstock, 101650 Very Vanilla Cardstock, 103162 More Mustard Ink Pad, 105219 Always Artichoke Ink Pad, 119671 Cajun Craze Ink Pad, 105208 Sahara Sand Ink Pad, 120985 Waffle Paper, 113463 Top Note Sizzix Bigz Die, 114508 Lots of Tags Sizzlits Die, 119976 Square Lattice Embossing Folder, 104430 Dimensionals, 118480 Chantilly 1/2" Crochet Trim (sponged with Crazun Craze ink), 117273 Antique Brads.

Sizzix Big Shot Card

Published by under Big Shot

What?  No stamping?  No, just the Sizzix Big Shot at work.  This is a card I created while playing around with ideas for my Big Shot Club.  I decided to not use this card, but I still like it myself.  I must have higher standards for my Big Shot Club members than I have for myself!  LOL

 Supplies Used:

120953 Crumb Cake Cardstock (base), 105119 Always Artichoke Cardstock (leaves), 105118 So Saffron Cardstock, 119793 Poppy Parade Cardstock, 119686 Early Espresso Cardstock (these are the waves), 120893 Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Sizzix Die (this is how the waves were made), 114515 Flower Burst Sizzix Embosslits Die (I snipped it and slightly crumbled it in my hand to get some dimension), 114513 Sweetest Stem Sizzix Embosslits Die, 109110 Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads, 104430 Dimensionals.
