Happy Together

Published by Sue under Stamping

Two of my downline, Wanda and Denise, came over tonight for an impromptu time of stamping.  They both brought me donations of cards to use for my church’s card ministry.  Denise brought the "Happy Together" stamp set and Wanda made each of us a sample.  Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay; Ink: Chocolate Chip; Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay; Accessories: Sponge.  This is just too cute!

Happy Birthday Ben!

Published by Sue under Stamping

Today is our son’s 29th birthday.  I dug out some retired designer series paper from my stash.  Used the chipboard numbers from the On Board Lots of Letters, Close to Cocoa and Mellow Moss cardstock and ink pads, Old Olive brads and the new Modern Label punch.  Ben really liked this card, especially the chipboard numbers!  Very quick and easy to make!

Treat Bags

Published by Sue under Big Shot, Gift Item

Alot of people in direct sales like to have treat bags for their downline at their Conventions.  I made these for someone who used to belong to my networking group.  I made some treat bags for her last year and she needed more for this year.

I used the large gusset cellophane bags so she can fill these with candy and gum.  If she doesn’t want to fill this to the brim, she can easily fold down the cellophane bag to the size she wants.  She just has to put two staples in the Apricot Appeal cardstock topper and cellophane bag.  I put four dimensionals on the back of the Basic Gray cardstock, so she can adhere it to the Apricot Appeal cardstock when the cellophane bag is full.

I used the Sizzix Star die cut for the large star and the star punches for the vellum and Basic Gray stars.  I adhered them with a silver brad.  The words were done on the computer and punched out with the 1 3/4" circle punch.  The Basic Gray cardstock was texturized with the Sizzix Backgrounds I texturz plates.

New Catalog Open House

Published by Sue under Big Shot, Stamping

July 6 from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., was my new catalog open house.  The first person came at 11:15 a.m. and one of my downline left at 10:15 p.m.  There was always someone at the house.  The day literally flew by.  I loved seeing everyone and catching up.  Plus, the "ooh’s and aah’s" as they look at the new catalog are always fun to hear.

This is the first project everyone made.  Look familiar?  Why reinvent the wheel, when I already figured out a quick and easy card for the shoebox swap?  This card featured the Circle Circus and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets.  The cardstock used was Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and Whisper White.  The ink was Soft Suede and this card used the Scallop Edge Punch.

The second project was a variation of a card I got from the shoebox swap.  This card featured the Circle Circus and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets.  The cardstock used was Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White.  The ink was Rich Razzleberry.  The accessories used were silver brads, Sizzix Texturz Plates (dots), Modern Label punch and Rich Razzleberry 1/2" polka-dot rosgrain ribbon.

Stamp Share for Leaders Shoebox Swap

Published by Sue under Stamping

My manager, Terri, organized a shoebox swap on June 29 for members of the Stamp Share for Leaders group.  We had to use stamp sets that were in the new catalog and were encouraged to use new in-color cardstock.  (Stampin’ Up! allows demonstrators to pre-order select merchandise from the new catalog.)  We had to make two different cards.  This is my first card featuring the Circle Circus and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets, Razzleberry Lemonade designer series paper, Dusty Durango and Basic Gray cardstock, Basic Gray, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo inks.  I love the Modern Label punch and how the Word Window punch fits on it too.

My second card was again using the Circle Circus and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets.  The cardstock used was Melon Mamba, Soft Suede and Confetti White.  The ink used was Soft Suede.  The  Eyelet Border punch added some elegance to the card.

It was incredible to have 64 new samples when I got home!  Thank you Terri!!!!!
