Pillow Box Treats

Published by Sue under Big Shot, Gift Item

I’ve been working little by little for the last week making 40 pillow box treats.  I used the Sizzix Pillow Box die to cut the shapes.  A quick strip of sticky tape to adhere them together and folded in the ends.  I put two Dove chocolates in each pillow box, after testing to make sure the chocolate was fresh!

I embossed the "for you" from the stamp set, Say it With Scallops, and punched them out with the Square Scallop Punch.  I was running out of time and skipped the eyelet and just punched a hole in the corner of the tag and used the stretchy silver cording to keep the box closed and hold the tag on.  These are table favors for my Business & Professional Women’s dinner tomorrow night to celebrate National Business Women’s Week.

ASK Frame

Published by Sue under Decorating

Last Sunday was my downline meeting.  Wanda made me this *ASK Frame for me, which just made me cry.  It is so stunning to see in person.  The photograph doesn’t do it justice.  You may not know this, but Wanda is famous and known around the world for her fabulous blog.  If you go to her blog, she has directions on how to make the ASK Frame.  Wanda and I will be working on some other styles of frames like this one, so we both can offer these as classes for our customers.  Go to www.starlightstamper.com

*Ask and it shall be given to you.  Seek and you shall find.  Knock and it shall be opened to you.  Luke 11:9

This is the card Wanda included with my ASK Frame.  It matches!  She used the Wow Flowers stamp set, Bella Rose designer series paper and pearls from the pretties kit.

Mr. & Mrs. Frankie

Published by Sue under Big Shot, Scrapbooking, Stamping

Tonight was stamping therapy time at my friend Merri’s house.  She is an incredible woman with a great sense of humor who inspires me all the time.  I get to her house and she’s making a whole stack of little paper backpacks for her daughter in college and her daughter’s friends.  She makes the cutest things with such attention to detail.  My project for the night was to make the Mr. & Mrs. Frankie that I’ve seen made from the Sizzix top note die cut and punches.

Aren’t these stinkin’ cute?  I can’t decide if I’ll make these into cards or use on some scrapbook pages.  They were much easier to make than I thought they would be.
